About This Module

AURUM's isokinetic resistance system is uniquely suited to special populations. Unlike free weights or conventional resistance machines, isokinetic resistance automatically matches the force output of the user — meaning it is inherently safer for joints, more accessible for deconditioned clients, and easier to control for post-injury rehabilitation.

This module covers the physiological and programming adaptations required for four key groups: older adults (sarcopenia, fall prevention), post-rehabilitation clients, individuals with metabolic conditions (type 2 diabetes, hypertension, obesity), and complete beginners.

Why AURUM for Special Populations

Over-65s are AURUM's fastest-growing demographic — and most valuable
0 risk
No free weights, no spotter needed, no injury risk from excessive load
3–5%
Muscle loss per decade after 30 — AURUM directly addresses sarcopenia
Rehab
Physiotherapists increasingly refer patients to AURUM for post-rehab strength
