Post-Cancer Recovery

Post-Cancer Recovery

Exercise oncology is one of the fastest-evolving fields in medicine. Evidence-based guidance for rebuilding strength, energy, and confidence during and after cancer treatment.

Movement as medicine — what the evidence says

The evidence for exercise during and after cancer treatment is now robust enough that major oncology bodies — including ASCO and ESMO — recommend it as a standard component of cancer care. Exercise reduces fatigue, maintains muscle mass, improves treatment tolerance, reduces recurrence risk for several cancer types, and dramatically improves quality of life.

Yet most cancer patients are told simply to "rest and take it easy." This is outdated advice that has real costs. Appropriate, medically-informed exercise during treatment and recovery is not only safe — it is actively therapeutic.

This course provides the education that most patients never receive — what the research says, how to exercise safely at each stage of treatment and recovery, and how to rebuild strength and confidence systematically after the hardest experience of your life. Note: this course is educational and does not replace medical advice — always work with your oncology team.
