Lesson Overview
The AURUM ONE is a precision-engineered isokinetic training machine consisting of 16 specialized components. In this lesson, you'll learn to identify and understand every part of the machine, from its structural frame to its electronic systems. This knowledge is essential for daily operation, client communication, and basic troubleshooting.
Learning Objectives
- Identify and name all 16 components of the AURUM ONE machine
- Understand the function and purpose of each component
- Explain how the components work together to deliver isokinetic resistance
- Recognize the key safety mechanisms built into the machine
- Know the basic maintenance and care requirements for each component
The Machine Architecture
The AURUM ONE is built around a central philosophy: deliver maximum training effectiveness with maximum safety. Every component serves this dual purpose. The machine frame provides the rigid foundation, while the seat system ensures proper positioning for each of the six exercises. The lever arm transfers force to the resistance motor, which uses isokinetic technology to adapt resistance in real time.
The touchscreen display (WACOM) provides the visual interface for both the client and coach, displaying real-time power curves, metrics, and exercise guidance. Multiple sensors throughout the machine monitor force output, range of motion, and speed, feeding data to the Training App's algorithms.
Safety mechanisms are integrated at every level: mechanical stops prevent over-extension, electronic limiters prevent excessive force, and the software includes emergency stop functionality. The cable system connects the lever arm to the resistance motor, and the entire system is powered through a dedicated power supply unit.

Accessories & Tools
Beyond the machine itself, every session relies on a set of accessories. Know what each one is for before you need it.
Why Hardware Knowledge Matters
As an AURUM coach, your clients will trust you to understand the machine completely. Whether explaining how the resistance adapts in real time, adjusting the seat for a new exercise, or diagnosing why a calibration failed — hardware knowledge is the foundation for everything else. It also enables you to identify when professional service is needed and communicate effectively with AURUM's technical support team.
