The word 'sales' makes most coaches uncomfortable. It shouldn't. Every great AURUM coach is already selling — they just call it coaching. Sales is the conversation that connects a client's problem to your solution. Done with integrity and evidence, it is a service — not a manipulation.
The CLOSER framework (adapted for AURUM coaching) provides a structured, ethical sales conversation that consistently converts trial sessions into memberships.
Open with curiosity: 'What's brought you in today?' Listen for the real motivation behind their stated reason. Pain, pride, fear, or aspiration?
Connect their situation to others like them: 'We work with a lot of people in your position — executives who need results without wasted time.' Creates belonging and credibility.
What have they tried before? Why didn't it work? Understanding their previous failures makes your solution more relevant and credible.
Hormozi's principle: sell the outcome (energy, strength, independence), not the method (isokinetic machine, 6 minutes). Clients don't want training — they want the result of training.
Anticipate and answer objections before they arise. 'You might be wondering about the time commitment — let me show you exactly what 6 minutes looks like.' Remove uncertainty proactively.
After commitment, reinforce the quality of their choice: 'You're making one of the best investments you can in your health. Most of our clients wish they'd started sooner.'
Alex Hormozi's Value Equation explains every buying decision. Clients purchase when they perceive the value of the outcome to exceed the cost — financial and psychological — of acquiring it.
Value = (Dream Outcome × Likelihood of Achievement) ÷ (Time Delay × Effort & Sacrifice)
Dream Outcome: Strength, longevity, energy, independence — deeply personal and vivid. Likelihood: AURUM's data-driven approach, measurable results, and coached sessions maximise perceived certainty of success.
Time Delay: Results begin at first session — clients feel different immediately. Effort & Sacrifice: 6 minutes, no soreness, no complex equipment. The lowest effort-to-result ratio in the fitness industry.
'What do you want to achieve? Here is the evidence that AURUM delivers it. Here is how quickly. And here is how little time it will take.'
The trial session is not a taster — it is a transformation. When structured correctly, it should leave the prospect with no rational reason not to commit.
Open-ended questions. Identify their persona, stage of change, and deepest motivation. Take notes — reference them throughout.
The story: global fitness crisis → resistance training is the answer → AURUM is the gold standard. Use the Value Equation language.
Walk through the machine. Set their profile. Start with Leg Press — the most accessible and most impressive exercise for beginners.
Coach every rep. Name every curve. Celebrate every set. Make the data visible and exciting in real time.
Walk through the 5 metrics. 'This is your baseline. This is what we build from.' Create an emotional anchor to the data.
Summarise their goal. Reference their Output baseline. Ask: 'What would it mean to you if we doubled this number in 12 weeks?' Then present the options.
Objections are not obstacles — they are requests for more information. The coach who understands this converts more trial sessions than the coach who treats objections as rejections.
This objection means: 'I'm not sure the result justifies the cost.' Response: Anchor to the Value Equation. 'Let me put the price in context — how much do you currently spend on health? What would you pay to not have chronic back pain? What is a year of strength and energy worth to you?' Then reconnect to their specific goal.
This objection means: 'I don't believe 6 minutes is enough.' Response: 'You don't need 60 minutes because you're not getting 60 minutes of value from a conventional gym session. AURUM delivers in 6 minutes what most people fail to achieve in 6 months. That is our data — and I can show you the research.'
This objection means: 'I'm not sure yet.' Response: Create gentle urgency. 'Absolutely — what specifically would you like to think about? I want to make sure I've answered everything.' Unpack the hesitation. Often there is one underlying concern — find it and address it.
This is a gift — it means they are engaged. Response: 'That is exactly what I said before I saw the data.' Show the power curves. Reference the research. 'Would you like me to show you a 3-month Output progression from a client who had the same question?'
The highest-quality, lowest-cost leads for an AURUM studio come from existing satisfied clients. A structured referral programme is more effective than any digital marketing campaign for premium fitness services.
After a session where the client hits a new personal best or receives visible positive data. Emotional peak = highest referral willingness.
'Do you know anyone who might benefit from the same experience? I'd love to offer them a complimentary trial.' Generic asks are ignored. Specific, timely asks convert.
Offer existing clients a benefit (session credit, discount, upgrade) for every successful referral who signs up. The incentive amplifies the ask.
Google Business profile optimised for local search. Instagram with authentic transformation and data content. Before/after metric posts (with client consent) convert exceptionally well.
The AURUM Community page and local events create organic word-of-mouth. Clients who feel part of a community refer instinctively.
Business growth requires measurement. These four KPIs tell you everything you need to know about the health of your AURUM studio — and which lever to pull to improve it.
Average session/membership value × average retention duration. Increasing CLV through retention is 5× more valuable than acquiring new clients. Target: maximise through long-term relationship and recertification cycles.
Total marketing spend ÷ new clients acquired. Referral-based CAC is near-zero. Paid digital CAC should always be benchmarked against CLV. If CAC > CLV ÷ 3, the acquisition channel is unprofitable.
The single most important retention metric. A 5% monthly churn means 50% of your clients are gone within 10 months. Target <3% monthly for a sustainable studio. Track and investigate every cancellation.
'On a scale of 0–10, how likely are you to recommend AURUM to a friend?' 9–10 = Promoters. 7–8 = Passive. 0–6 = Detractors. NPS = Promoters % − Detractors %. Healthy AURUM studios should target NPS >60.
Rule of thumb: A 1% reduction in monthly churn is worth more than a 10% increase in new client acquisition. Retention is the business.
Sales, referrals, retention, and commercial KPIs are not separate from coaching — they are the result of coaching done exceptionally well. Every satisfied client is a marketing asset. Every powerful trial session is a commercial event. Master the craft, and the business follows.
